There's not much to be said here. It's a piece of plastic that locks onto your PS3. By widening the base, it makes it possible to stand the PS3 on its side without worrying about it falling over. It certainly does its job, but it's not worth $25 either. I bought it used for $15 or so, and was more than happy to pay that. It has a non-slip bottom surface, and once it's locked into position, it's not coming loose unless you release it. I held my PS3 by the base only, and there was no slipping or shaking loose. Of course I held it a couple inches above my bed, just in case. If you need the room, get it and be assured that you're getting a good product. If you don't need the room, don't worry about it.
